PIVOT DOORS
An entry door, also known as a front door, is the main entrance to a building that provides passage between the inside and outside. Entry doors are usually located at the front of a house and are often the focal point of the exterior. They can make a first impression on visitors and help establish the overall aesthetic of a property.
Pivot doors are made with thick frames and impact resistant glass. Pivot doors swivel within a door opening on spindles located at the top and bottom of the door. Pivot doors can be made in massive sizes, up to 6 feet wide and 10 feet tall. These large doors create the illusion that the door panel is hovering in the opening. The weight on a pivot door is more balanced than on a hinged door, so even the largest pivot doors are easy to open and close.
