Pivot doors are made with thick frames and impact resistant glass. Pivot doors swivel within a door opening on spindles located at the top and bottom of the door. Pivot doors can be made in massive sizes, up to 6 feet wide and 10 feet tall. These large doors create the illusion that the door panel is hovering in the opening. The weight on a pivot door is more balanced than on a hinged door, so even the largest pivot doors are easy to open and close.
